Moving Stop Losses to Breakeven After Profit Targets
To reduce risk, TradeShields can automatically adjust your stop loss to breakeven after a profit target is hit.
How to configure:
- Locate the Move stop to breakeven option in Exit Settings.
- Select when to adjust the stop loss:
- After 1st take profit
- After 2nd take profit
- Do not move stop
Example:
- If your first take profit is 1% (0.01), the stop loss will move to the entry price once this target is hit.
Tips:
- Use this setting to secure profits without limiting the potential for further gains.
- Combine with trailing stops for maximum flexibility.
