Moving Stop Losses to Breakeven After Profit Targets

To reduce risk, TradeShields can automatically adjust your stop loss to breakeven after a profit target is hit.

How to configure:

  1. Locate the Move stop to breakeven option in Exit Settings.
  2. Select when to adjust the stop loss:
    • After 1st take profit
    • After 2nd take profit
    • Do not move stop

Example:

  • If your first take profit is 1% (0.01), the stop loss will move to the entry price once this target is hit.

Tips:

  • Use this setting to secure profits without limiting the potential for further gains.
  • Combine with trailing stops for maximum flexibility.
